DTIS is a premier provider of fingerprint based criminal background check services certified by both FBI and TSA. DTIS is also approved by FDLE Level 2 meeting the all the requirements of the State of Florida. Applicants visit our many collection kiosks throughout the state of Florida. In Florida, DTIS batches to the FDLE every 13 seconds giving TIPS members fingerprinting results in 24 hours. From the tragic events of 9/11, the American Association of Aviation Executives (AAAE) formed Digital Trusted Identity Services (DTIS).For the ability to provide FBI Fingerprint Channeling Services, in June of 2023 HireRight purchased a percentage of DTIS. I DTIS is one of the largest by volume FBI RapBack ( 2nd generation notification) service providers in the US. AAAE created the Transportation Security Clearinghouse (Clearinghouse) to assist over 400 commercial service airports across the country with the collection, quality check, and distribution of results for nearly 1.2 million people employed at airports. This effort represented the nation’s first non-criminal clearinghouse for biometrically based background checks. As the provider for channeling services, DTIS works together with AAAE to offer Designated Aviation Channeler (DAC) services to over 350 airports and airlines processing approximately 630,000 TSA criminal history record checks per year.
